Regional Coordinator

An established International NGO invites applications from competent Nepalese citizens for the following Kathmandu based positions with frequent travel to areas outside Kathmandu. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experiences with US AID projects.

Salary and benefits package will be commensurate with the skills and experiences of the candidates.

Regional Coordinator (based outside Kathmandu in one of the regional centers)

EDUCATION: A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Agriculture, Forestry, Business Administration or other relevant subject.

WORK EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years of experience. Experience working with community development projects supervising monitoring performance of local NGOs is preferred.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Assist in developing programs by coordinating with the local subcontractors and grantees and closely monitor implementation on a day to day basis.

- Coordinate collection of relevant data, information and periodic reports from the subcontractors and assist in identifying any windows of opportunities in the region for the development of program.

- Also coordinate with other USAID activities, grantees and contractors, government and other donor activities in the region to achieve synergy.
