National Logistics and Security Officer

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) work jointly with the Nepal Bar Association (NBA) for a program for the support of internally displaced and conflict affected persons in Nepal. The program provides Information, Counseling and Legal Assistance through a community-based outreach methodology. The programs are based in Nepalgunj, Biratnagar, Rukum, Surkhet and Kathmandu involving extensive field work throughout the Eastern and Mid-Western Regions. This program seeks applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the post of: National Logistics and Security Officer (1 position: based in Kathmandu with extensive travel to project sites) The National Logistics and Security Officer will work under the direct supervision of NRC Country Director to assist with the implementation of all NRC projects in Nepal and contribute to the fulfillment of the aims and objectives of NRC. She/he must be proactive and able to work with limited supervision.
