The Rural Infrastructure Engineer/District Team Leader

FRISA-ITECO joint venture, a Swiss Consulting firm, is the District Implementation Support Consultants for Rural Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Sector Development Project (RRRSDP) and Decentralized Rural Infrastructure and Livelihood Project (DRILP). RRRSDP is jointly financed by GoN, ADB, Swiss Government and DFID while DRILP is financed by GoN, ADB and Swiss Government. The projects focuses on poverty reduction and inclusive development, thereby enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the delivery of public services, and improving access of rural people to economic opportunities and social services.

To supplement its team FRISA-ITECO is seeking applications from suitably qualifies and experienced Nepali national for the position as follows:


RRRSDP Requirements:


The Rural Infrastructure Engineer/District Team Leader: (head of the DIST office)

• should have a minimum qualification of Bachelors Degree in civil engineering with at least 5 years of practical experience in construction project management.

• need at least 2 years of experience in rural transport infrastructure projects following LEP approach.

• shall be selected to the criteria mentioned above but preference shall be given for the candidates with Masters Degree related to civil engineering.

• should be registered with the Nepal Engineering Council in accordance with the Nepal Engineering Council Act, 2055.


DUTY STATION: in any of the districts of Kabhrepalanchowk, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha or Sindhuli.
