National Alliance for Human Rights and Social Justice- Nepal (Human Rights Alliance) is a coalition of Nepali non governmental human rights organizations dedicated to a cause of freedom, human rights, social justice and peace in Nepal. Human Rights Alliance undertakes human rights and social justice movements and has actively involved in advocacy, lobbying and campaign for the protection and promotion of HR.

Currently, we are going to recruit an Executive Director to be based in Kathmandu.

The incumbent should have a proven track record and sound knowledge on different human rights issues with excellent interpersonal communication and networking skills for advocacy, lobbying and campaign, preferably hold a Masters Degree in Human Rights, Social Sciences or any other relevant disciplines. You should have at least three years work experience in similar fields, managing programmes, human and financial resources. A high level of competency in communication, reporting, projects financial management and facilitation skills is required. The candidate should be well versed on MS Word, Excel and Power Point. Good knowledge of both written and spoken English and Nepali is essential. You need to have the ability to learn and work independently with minimal supervision.

The post is initially for one year contract with possibility of extension over several years. Salary and other benefits will commensurate with experience and competency as per the rules of the organisation.
