Home Parent

An NGO, working for the welfare of the children is seeking for a, motivated, experienced Home Parent to take care of the children in homes. This is a live-in position; the person has to stay with children in the home 24 hours and will be entitled to a day off once a week. The Salary for this post is 14,000.00 Gross Per Month. Other benefits for this post will be provided after successful completion of probationary period.

This person should have eagerness to work for children, care for them and bring about a change in their lives.

Selection criteria:

Be a Nepali Citizen

Education:
Be a graduate, in similar area of interest.
Should be able to correspond in Nepali and English.

Experience and skills required:
Child friendly and having ability to handle preadolescent and adolescent children (boys and girls)
At least one year experience in child related field.
Time management and a very good team player
Good communication skills
Planning and budgeting skills
Having training on positive discipline or child psychology will be an added advantage.



Duty Hours:
Residential duty- six days a week (24 hours)
